General Contracting & Fabrication
Because of our company’s history, we understand the importance of having strong relationships with our clients, architects, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors. As a general contracting company, we design and create custom Millwork. Our work includes kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities, fireplace surrounds and mantels. As a custom manufacturer, we can build custom furniture, free-standing pieces, entertainment units, bars, and libraries. For commercial and business clients, we can also build anything from reception desks and custom storage units. All our manufacturing work is built in our Millwork shop.
History of the Family Business
My Trade Cabinet Company began in a small custom wood working shop in 1965. It all started with Joe Masone, who had a dream to produce quality work for local home owners and businesses. Joe had an idea to offer full service home Improvement to customers in his local area. His business consisted of himself, his wife Carmela, and a few employees. Joe made a great name for himself in the industry always known for his hard work and ability to produce for the client. He always took pride in each and every project that he worked on. Clients always new that whatever they needed from My Trade Cabinet Co., Joe was there to make it happen.
Throughout the years the business evolved into a well-oiled machine, and branched into the carpentry world. The company started to do home renovations in addition to custom Millwork. Joe’s Son, Joey, apprenticed into the business and would eventually take full control. It was Joey’s hard working attitude and attention to detail that helped him elevate the company. His ability to sketch, along with his deep knowledge of building, helped him form great relationships with clients. And from this he began to forge partnerships with designers and architects.
